  • D2 - ID of Clutch. Hole Tolerance H7 - Refer to Tolerance chart
  • D3 - OD of Clutch End Caps
  • D4 - Bore Size Needed to Accept Clutch - Tolerance -0.03 Minimum Diameter Needed to Install.
  • D5 - Minimum OD Required for Hub.
  • D6 - OD of Shaft Holding Washer (Push or Pull Installation, and Shaft Shoulder (Push Installation Only).
  • L2 - Length of Hub Needed to Mount Clutch - Tolerance 0.2
  • T - Minor OD of Clutch Including Key
  • W - Minimum Shaft Shoulder (Push Installation)

These safety clutches are intended for use in wheels, cranks or other instances where the attached shaft will rotate while the OD remains stationary. When installed, a "push" or "pull" (depending on installation) will engage serrations inside the clutch and a positive connection will be made For manual turning. Releasing the wheel allows a spring to return the wheel to a free position relative to the shaft. Precision made of hardened and ground wear surfaces with needle bearings for long and trouble free use. Installation for OD and ID are to metric standards. Metric Safety Clutches
